As New Propulsion Technologizes Certification Expert you will join a highly skilled and motivated team of experts. As a Certification Expert in the field of Hydrogen Storage & Integration Systems, or in the field of Electric and Hybrid Propulsion Systems (EHPS) you will contribute to aeronautical products safety by providing essential expertise to initial airworthiness certification and continuing airworthiness.

You will provide expert support to certification projects and EASA teams for the determination of the applicable certification basis, the definition of the level of involvement by selecting compliance demonstration items and the agreement of applicants’ certification programmes. Within the scope defined under level of involvement, you will verify the compliance demonstrations provided by applicants for the domain of expertise in cooperation with the project certification managers and/or experts of other disciplines. You will manage and contribute to the approval of changes to type certificates, repairs and Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), follow allocated occurrences, identify potential corrective actions in CAW domain and propose replies to safety recommendations. You will provide advice in the development of new airworthiness requirements, industrial standards, including relevant parts of EASA Certification Specifications and advisory and guidance material. You will also provide inputs and support to Design Organisation Approval activities, as well as to the other EASA Directorates as necessary.
